Is Remote Viewing a Spiritual Action?
2009-01-20 17:22:17

Remote viewing is a relatively "new" concept to people. There is still little known about how it works, why it works, or for that matter if it really does work. As with anything new, there are those who scoff at it, without having researched it, and other who express their own curiosity about it, but not enough to actually look into it.

Then there are those who are true researchers and they go that extra mile and try to find out really what it is, how it works, if it would work for them, if they want it to work for them, and a whole lot more questions.

Then there are those who teach you how to do it. They have had some success with it, so they stand by it. And as is normal human nature, they want to share their success with others, often people they would like to help.

Then there is more discussion, and questioning, and wandering and doubting. This is the way of any new movement, whether it be scientific, philosophic, or spiritual.

Thus we will take a look and try to discuss whether or not remote viewing is a spiritual action.

Firstly, Remote Viewing is described as training your innate "psi muscle" also referred to as your sixth sense to see things in other locations that the location you are currently in. The technology was developed by the military and came into public hands in 1989. Thus if we ask the experts who developed and experienced this new technology, they will adamantly insist (in the opinion of this author) that it is not spiritual in any way.

However, we must for a moment examine what is the spirit and what is the mind and what is the body.

Breaking this apart, we see the body as not capable of thought. It can help to portray our emotions (tears from our eyes, smiles on our faces, laughter, anger etc.) But the body did not create the emotion, something else did. Something that made the body laugh or cry.

What is that something and what else can it do? Let's take a look at the mind. The mind is probably best described in computer terms it is the link between the spirit and his body. The software you use to access the body and make it do what you want it to do. (The mind is not the brain - brain is body). Who created the mind? It is not physical, and it is there storing files, accessing data, and operating at the commands of the soul.

Thus we have broken it apart: The soul is using the mind to control the body.

Now the people can remote view. They can see what is happening in Asia when they live in Switzerland. Who is doing the looking? The body? The mind? The soul?

You decide.

Research remote viewing and see what you think.
