| Spiritual Thoughts: | As far as spiritual orientation, the only thing I have found of any value is that God (or whatever) if love. That sounds stupid and cliché, but my whole life radiates from this one idea. It’s this idea of connection and beauty and passion and joy and vibrancy that colors everything I do and experience. I try not to box it in much more than that. I think one of the single saddest things in this world is the way that many take one of the most beautiful things imaginable and turn it into this instrument of guilt and power and control. It makes me want to weep. I think the only responsible thing for a person who really sees the love to do is to share it in as many ways as possible for as long as they have breath. This is my constant goal…I don’t always succeed, but I’m always trying…it’s all I can do. |
