What is a ghost?  Do they really exist.  Can you talk with them?  Why are they here?  Are they really here?  Why are they haunting others?  Is there a way to help them?  Do they want to be helped? 

It would be safe to say that ghosts will be viewed in accordance with your religious beliefs.  It is probably also safe to say that if you believe in life after death in any capacity, you will have some kind of a view point about ghosts.

Let's start with a basic concept.  It is normally agreed that a ghost is the apparition of the deceased person.  The idea is that the ghost somehow presents himself in a form resembling his dead body and tends to frequent the places where he lived, worked, played, etc.  An often easier concept to grasp than the apparition is that the ghost is the soul of that deceased person.

The interesting thing about ghosts is that for many, they do exist and they can be talked with.  You can find out why the ghost is still here, and you can often help him to move on.  Some don't want to be helped, and sometimes you do have to take a stand and let them know that even if they don't want to move on, you have now occupied the space and they are being "evicted".

It may not be easily recognized the ease involved in recognizing, talking to and helping a ghost.  Sure, you can do a television program and bring in all kinds of fancy equipment and make it somewhat scary, and get "evidence" for the audience.

Or, you can just recognize the spiritual being in your space and reach out to him or her with your mind and make a connection.  You will normally find that there is some relief from the being.  To finally be recognized is what has brought them relief.  Then to get some communication does so much for them.

Mostly what you will encounter as the reason they are still here is because they have a confusion of some kind.  It may stem from the fact that they don't know what happened, and they sort of got "stuck" so to speak.  For some time (and for them time is not relevant) they have been pondering the question of where their body is and how do they get back to it.  (Sometimes it has been a few hundred years for us, but for them it seems only as minutes).

Then you may also find that they are still around because they are in grief.  They do know what happened, and they are grieving the loss of all that they had, the "stuff", the people, the life.  They haven't been able to move on because at least staying in the state they are in helps them to somehow feel like they haven't lost everything.

You will find that each ghost has his or her own reason for still being around.  The important thing is to find out what they want to communicate.  Listen carefully, and acknowledge them.  Don't try to ease their pain or make sense of their thoughts.  Just really let them know that they were heard. 

Then tell them that they will feel much better if they get back into the game of life.  Tell them good places where they can find a new baby body that they could have.  Tell them maybe were a midwife's office is or the closest hospital.  Give them the understanding that they just need to get back in action. 

Let them know that you will take good care of the house or place that you found them. Let them know that you are there for them if they should need.  Then tell them to get going.

You will find then, that they have disappeared.

That is all there is to it.
