Writing an essay about my survival

When I learned about my sickness, Dysthymia, I took it as a challenge to cure myself not only clinically but also personally and spiritually rather than pitying my situation. I have been asking help to my family, my friends, and my God to give me extra strenght to carry the burden of my sickness. I have this routine as a part of my curing that I do once a week. I am attending a spiritual healing across the street with other patients. A friend recommended and encourage me to participate for me to be enlighten and for me to have additonal spiritual strength and faith to believe that God will always lead me to the right way and heal my sickness. Spiritually I was healed. But right now I am still under medication. I also read some essays regarding treatments and doctor's recommendation on the Internet. I also attend psychotherapy every week as part of my medication. I therefore conclude that sickness cannot ruined once life if you just believe that you will be healed. You must help yourself rather than doing nothing. Always keep in mind that everything that was given to you by God are trials and that can be solved by faith and strength. I can say that depression has made my life complicated, but as I face it, I realized there are also positive things about it that made me a stronger person.
